STRICTLY’S Oti Mabuse has insisted she and former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher are just good friends.

The 29-year-old dancer said the steamy routines which saw them win the BBC celebrity dancing contest last year were “acting through dance”.

The Pretoria-born ballroom star said: “There’s nothing there, it was acting through dance.that’s because my husband is my everything, my rock.”

Oti said she was 19 when she met German-romanian Marius Iepure, now 37. She was scouting for a future dancing partner in Germany and they “became a couple not long after that”, marrying in 2013.

Speculation about Oti and father-of-two Kelvin after they performed a passionate rumba routine on Strictly was branded as “filth” by judge Craig Revel Horwood.

The duo were pictured having a 3am hotel nightcap after partying in central London at the start of the month.

Kelvin’s childhood sweetheart wife Eliza responded by unfollowing both of them on social media and was seen without her wedding ring.
