Duke’s links with second sex suspect
PRINCE Andrew faced fresh scrutiny last night after he was linked with another tycoon accused of abusing teenage girls.
Fashion magnate Peter Nygard is accused of sex offences against children.
It comes after shamed financier Jeffrey Epstein, once a friend of the
Duke ofyork, hanged himself last August while on remand for a string of charges.
Andrew, along with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, stayed at Nygard’s Bahamas mansion in 2000.
The visit came after Nygard, 77, is said to have reached out-of-court settlements with three employees who accused him of sexual harassment.
In a new lawsuit filed in Newyork, the Canadian stands accused of raping eight teenage girls on his Nassau estate between 2008 and 2015.
Prince Andrew is not involved in the lawsuit and there is no suggestion he knew anything about the allegations.
Nygard’s lawyer Jay Prober said his client “vigorously” denies the accusations as “completely false without foundation”.
