When TV’S Anita took a catwalk on the wild side
COUNTRYFILE presenter Anita Rani starred in an eco-friendly fashion show wearing wire antlers and a dress made from waste plastic.
The 42-year-old hit the catwalk with other celebrities, including Jowood, ex-wife of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronniewood, to support the Vin + Omi show in London.
The design duo have been working with environmentalist Prince Charles to find uses for green waste from his Highgrove estate. Among other things, they have developed a way to make nettles into fabric.
They said they wanted to find ways to recycle “waste willow, ash, hydrangea, garden waste bags, plant pots and horse hair clippings from Highgrove stables”.
