Snag is in shape to tune of £24m

-

INCLUSIVITY is paying off for online hosiery brand Snag, which has achieved sales of £24million and captured three per cent of the UK market since launching in spring 2018, writes Maisha Frost.

Unlike many others, Snag’s tights are designed for women of all shapes and sizes and the Edinburgh-based retailer has sold more than 1.5 million pairs, with its 80 and 50 denier black ones being the most popular. Snag’s range goes from size four to 36 and is based on waist and dress size, as well as body contour.

“There is a real hunger among our customers for size-inclusive and body-positive brands,” founder Brie Read says. Snag is aiming to make its range either recyclable or biodegradable by October.
