Filmmaker Jane Corbin also uncovers footage showing that Islamic State were developing a “drone capability” to bomb resorts full of Western tourists.

Nine IS bombers struck at three churches and three hotels in the capital, Colombo. Six Britons were among 45 foreign victims.

The film features CCTV footage of the casually dressed killers with large rucksacks packed with explosives, nails and ball bearings.

The film unearths evidence that there were many opportunities to stop the mastermind, Zahran Hashim, who was under surveillance for several years.
