Agogo’s pain for fighters

OLYMPIC bronze medallist Anthony Ogogo admits Team GB’S Tokyo prospects will be heartbroken that their hopes of glory this summer have been dashed.

The 13 fighters on the Great Britain squad learned on Monday that the Olympics will now begin in July 2021.

Ogogo (right) who competed at middleweight in London 2012, said: “It was obviously the right thing to do but on an individual level, I feel so sorry for the guys who have had their hopes dashed.

“If I’d had everything I’d been working for in that time taken away from me at the 11th hour, it would have broken my heart.”
