Royal revelations may cause nuclear fallout

- By Margaret Holder ROYAL COMMENTATOR

SHE may not publish the contents while she is making megabucks with Netflix but one day the temptation to cash in on her treasure trove could arise.

Royals such as the Queen have kept diaries, but are likely to note events of the day, whereas Meghan may have recorded her loathing of certain courtiers.

Author Robert Lacey says there was someone at the Palace who hated

Meghan. That person could be unmasked and vilified.

With time, patience and dedication to duty she could have been remarkably successful as a royal. Instead, she and her troubled husband created the worst family rift since the Abdication.

If there are royal secrets to spill,

Harry will know them and so will the wife he treats with such devotion – so like the late Duke of Windsor and his American divorcee wife, Wallis

Simpson. The Duke wrote his memoirs, A King’s Story, and Wallis wrote hers, The Heart Has Its Reasons.

Neither tome was well-received by the Royal Family, but the fear must be that in an age without deference and from someone who frequently took offence when none was intended, the fallout could be nuclear.

Meghan will hold her fire for now but I believe the chance for payback against those she saw as her enemies will be too powerful to resist.
