Immigrant protest: 2 arrested
TWO people have been arrested during a protest outside a controversial asylum camp in west Wales, police said.
A 58-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were held on suspicion of obstructing police officers, with the latter also accused of a racially aggravated public order offence.
Dyfed-powys Police said around 55 people had gathered outside the camp in the village of Penally, near Tenby.
Superintendent Anthony Evans said, “Those committing criminal offences will be prosecuted.”
