Night spot was a £1m drugs farm
A CANNABIS farm over three storeys has been discovered in a former nightclub, the National Crime Agency said yesterday.
About 1,000 plants, worth more than £1million, were found in the property in Trinity Street, Coventry, on Thursday after officers smashed through several reinforced doors.
The plants were spread over three floors, along with £150,000 of “sophisticated” lighting and irrigation gear, the Agency said.
Police hunted down two men after they attempted to flee and three men have been charged with production of a class B drug.
