Working from home hits health
FOUR in 10 office staff fear their mental health and wellbeing will suffer if they have to spend another six months working from home.
A study found 41 per cent feel more anxious and isolated than ever before being cooped up as a result of Covid-19. They miss out on banter, feel unable to chat properly via video and calls and struggle with the work-life balance. Twenty per cent said physical health has deteriorated.
Christine North, of Vision Direct which carried out the poll of 2,000 people, said: “The novelty of remote working is starting to wear off.”
