WHAT we really need is another show about bailiffs. They’re so life-affirming in these troubled times. It’s good to know that if you fall behind on your payments in a pandemic then your creditor will get a High Court judgment so a burly chap can “negotiate” a payment. Just because, BBC, rival Channel 5 has a successful show about this, why did you feel inclined to copy? The Sheriffs Are is subtly tweaked to tell the story of the person who is owed the money. And we care why?
