Plumber taps into recovery
HOME services group Pimlico Plumbers has seen business bounce back post lockdown, with third quarter sales up 6 per cent to £10.9million compared to last year.
Founder Charlie Mullins said that pent-up demand for repairs and upgrades to homes had driven the increase in sales during July, August and September, which helped ease the blow of the £2million sales drop it saw in the preceding quarter.
However he added that if there are further lockdowns and restrictions, businesses will face tougher times and the “economy might not be able to bounce back as it once did”.
