SMELLS LIKE TEAM SPIRIT FOR DANIEL
Rotherham 1 Norwich 2
NORWICH boss Daniel Farke hailed “a win of team spirit and togetherness” after Jordan Hugill’s penalty deep in added time secured victory.
The visitors had trailed to a third-minute goal from Freddie Ladapo, who then saw a penalty saved by Tim Krul.
A Michael Ihiekwe own goal brought Norwich level, Angus Macdonald was sent off, then debutant Florian Jozefzoon mistimed a challenge on Emi Buendia and Hugill (below) scored from the penalty spot. “This feels really massive,” said Farke.
“This is a win of team spirit and togetherness.” Millers assistant manager Ritchie Barker, deputising for boss Paul Warne who is self-isolating, said it was “a monumental effort for no points.”
