Rublev on a roll to the final
RUSSIA’S Andrey Rublev beat second seed Denis Shapovalov to book his place in the final of the St Petersburg Open.
Rublev won 4-6 6-3 6-4 and will today face Borna Coric, last year’s runner-up, who beat Milos Raonic of Canada 1-6 6-1 6-4.
At the Cologne BETT1HULKS Indoors, top seed Alexander Zverev (right) of Germany will face Canadian Felix AugerAliassime in today’s final.
World number seven Zverev coasted through his semi-final against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, winning 7-5 7-6.
Third seed Auger-aliassime came through 6-3 1-6 6-3 against Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut.
Elsewhere, Laslo Djere went into today’s Sardegna Open final after Lorenzo Musetti retired hurt from their semi. He faces Marco Cecchinato, who beat Danilo Petrovic 6-1 6-0.
