Pair are a big letdown

Further to your reports in last week’s Sunday Express about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (“Is Meghan about to launch post-royal ‘manifesto’ on TV?”, February 21), when they got married we expected Meghan to support her husband with his day job like any other married couple, especially with his royal duties.

The country was overjoyed with their wedding and for the future happiness of Prince Harry, thinking that Meghan understood her role.

Instead of bringing joy to our nation she has brought sadness, and instead of supporting her husband in his royal duties, he has abandoned them.

It’s not what we had dreamt of. One day I hope they will wake up and come back to where they belong.
