Hotels make a meal of it

How I agree with Jennifer Selway (February 21). Not only do these people not have their rooms cleaned but their meals, which presumably are included in the vastly overpriced charges of £1,500, are served in cardboard boxes with similar eating implements.

As the hotels started to fill up this week the food portions became smaller, and on one occasion my son, who is quaranteed, had to request another meal.

He has had three Covid tests in as many weeks at his own expense and all proved negative. It makes no sense when honest British citizens are prevented from returning to their homes.
