KASEY SHOWS WAY TO STUN THE SWANS

Swansea 1 Bristol C 3

- By Graham Thomas

NIGEL PEARSON’S managerial rescue truck rammed Swansea’s promotion wagon off the road thanks to an amazing turnaround inspired by Kasey Palmer.

New Robins boss Pearson admitted his team could have been 3-0 down at half-time before Nahki Wells, Palmer (above) and substitute Antoine Semenyo all scored to cancel out Andre Ayew’s penalty.

After losing seven games in a row, Bristol City have now enjoyed back-to-back away wins.

It was the Swans’ first home defeat since midoctober and Pearson said: “I’ve inherited a talented group of young players but with a team ethic that shines through. That result looked unlikely in the first half. We were second-best.”
