Bissouma focus is Potter’s desire
GRAHAM POTTER reckons Yves Bissouma has potential but shouldn’t concern himself with believing he’s better than all of his midfield rivals in the Premier League.
The Brighton boss (below) insists Bissouma, 25, just needs to concentrate on being the best version of himself to realise his potential.
Potter praised the impact the Mali star has had on the Seagulls, who host Leicester today after winning three of their first four games, and believes Bissouma’s mentality will serve him well provided he backs it up on the pitch.
“He has got to strive to be better and to be the best version of himself that he can,” Potter said.
“It’s not about whether he’s better than someone else in the Premier League.
“I don’t necessarily think that’s so important for him.
“He’s got to be the best version of him. There is more to come from him.
“It’s about being proud about what he has done so far but there is more to come.”
