PABLO’S GREAT SCOT

WEST HAM have a second coming of their own to rival Cristiano Ronaldo’s at Manchester United.

That’s the view of their Spanish ace Pablo Fornals as he hailed the spectacular impact of manager David Moyes.

The Scot has enjoyed a sensational return to the Hammers hotseat, transforming the club from relegation candidates to Europa League qualifiers.

Fornals (right), 25, was not around for Moyes’ first spell but has talked with teammates who were. And ahead of Ronaldo and United’s visit today, Fornals said: “It was a similar moment – the team wasn’t too good, the gaffer came in and saved the team. Now, in this second time, he has stayed with us and that’s why we are where we are.”

As for Ronaldo, ex-villarreal star Fornals said: “When Cristiano was first at United I was a bit young but it was amazing watching his freekicks and how he played.

“Obviously he’s not the same player to his first period but he is Cristiano Ronaldo and one of the best in the world.”
