Stab victim dissolved in bin of acid

A KILLER who stabbed a man in the head before dissolving his body in acid has been jailed for 23 years.

George Knights, 19, of Rochester, Kent, murdered Stephen Chapman, 38, in October 2020.

He took a neighbour’s wheelie bin into his conservatory where he put Mr Chapman’s body and poured bottles of sulphuric acid over him.

Knights then went to a party where he bragged he had killed someone.

Kent Police said Mr Chapman had agreed to meet Knights to discuss selling him cocaine.

Knights was sentenced on Friday following a three-week trial last year.
