Flat murder probe: Man, 38, charged

A MAN has appeared in court charged with murder after a body was discovered at a flat.

Scott Cooper, 33, of Newport, Isle ofwight, was found dead by police in Ryde ontuesday.

Piers Brazier, 38, from Ryde, was remanded in custody by magistrates yesterday.

Police also arrested two other men aged 28 and 29 on suspicion of murder.

The 29-year-old has been released on conditional police bail.

Hampshire Police have referred themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct because officers went to the flat earlier that day.
