Success tastes sweet to Just Eat
JUST Eattakeaway is expected to say onwednesday that its fourth quarter orders grew by nine per cent to £261.9million, thanks to a strong December.
According to analysts at Bank of America, the online food ordering and delivery group is likely to say that good trading in December helped to offset a sluggish October and November.
The value of orders placed through it during the fourth quarter is forecast to be eight per cent higher at £5.6billion, with hungry Britons accounting for 22 per cent of that.
Bank of America believes that for 2021 as a whole, Just Eat had revenues of £4.3billion, an increase of 113.4 per cent on 2020.
