Facetime view for the children

-

THE Duchess of Cambridge has revealed that she and Princewilliam Facetimed their children to show them the stunning sea views from their hotel in the Bahamas.

William and Kate so enjoyed their stay at The Cove at Atlantis, on Paradise Island, on the final leg of their eight-day tour of the Caribbean, that they were overheard saying they want to return with George, Charlotte and Louis.

The couple had stayed in a three-bedroom penthouse suite with floor-to-ceiling windows showing off ocean views on Paradise Island during their time in the Bahamas.

When leaving the luxury hotel yesterday morning, they stopped to thank its general manager Kapil Sharma.

A source said that Kate was heard saying the place – designed by award-winning US architect Jeffrey Beers – was wonderful, the food was amazing and that they even Facetimed their children to show them the views. She added they can’t wait to come back with the children.

The couple delighted crowds at a traditional Bahamian fish fry when Kate, 40, who wore a £245 bubblegum pink dress by London firm Rixo, got into the spirit of things and tried the local delicacies.

Kate tried conch pistol – said by locals to be an aphrodisiac and a naturalviagra – to applause from the crowds.

She said: “I’m a little bit more adventurous than William is.” The couple later flew to northern-most isle Grand Bahama, where they dropped in on a children’s home.

They then visited Coral Vita, which was one of the five inaugural winners ofwilliam’s 2021 Earthshot Prize.
