ONLINE training platform The Coaching Masters is planning to raise £2million from investors using the Crowdcube crowdfunding website.
It wants to use the money raised to launch a smartphone app, Coachapp, which it claims will enable users to build up the skills and qualifications needed to be a life coach.
It adds that coaches and aspiring coaches will also be able to network through the app.
Founded four years ago,tcm claims to have 6,000 clients in 71 countries and revenues of £4million. One of its three founders is former Love Island contestant Jonny
Mitchell. People thinking of investing can register their interest ahead of the launch of its crowdfunding round. It adds that Coachapp will be available on both IOS, the operating system for Apple iphones, and Android, which powers smartphones produced by the likes of Samsung and Google.
Elsewhere, finance app Plum will next week close a crowdfunding round, having beaten its £1million target by £200,000. Plum helps people save and invest by analysing their spending and calculates what people can safely put aside, and transfers that money into a savings account.
