Add spice for better health
REGULAR physical activity is one of the best ways to reduce stress and anxiety, and that was certainly the case for broadcaster and author Richard Hamilton. Staying active and enjoying the outdoors have always been important to Richard, 56, but then problems with his foot started holding him back and that began to affect his mood.
“I’ve always liked to exercise but I was unable to do the things I enjoyed, like cycling to work, going to the gym and running,” he says.
“In truth, I found it a little depressing and felt quite down in the dumps – then I noticed an advertisement for Turmeric+ and liked the science behind it. I didn’t know whether it would help me but I thought I’d give it a try.”
Turmeric+ was developed by Futureyou Cambridge, renowned for developing highquality health supplements backed by cuttingedge scientific research. Based in the university city, the company works with some of the world’s leading experts in science and nutrition.
The spice turmeric’s key ingredient, curcumin, has been used in traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine for centuries to help against inflammation.the problem with curcumin is it’s very difficult for our bodies to absorb. Some turmeric products offer very high levels of curcumin, but unless it’s “bioavailable”, they make little difference.
So the team at Futureyou Cambridge made the most of science, using a patented curcuma phospholipid complex formulation with a unique phytosome delivery system to increase absorption.
It’s become the world’s most scientifically documented curcumin formulation, featured in 45 human studies involving over 2,000 people – studies show it enhances absorption 30 times more than standard Turmeric powders.
The daily tablets are combined with vitamins C and D which contribute to cartilage and muscle function.
Says Richard: “After about a month, I tried running again and it felt just like it used to. It’s fantastic. I take one a day and I’m enjoying running and cycling again. I’m so pleased and would recommend it to anyone.”
