A REALLY FAB FOUR

- Tom HOPKINSON REPORTING

JARROD BOWEN wants to end a difficult season at West Ham with a unique quadruple of avoiding relegation, winning the Europa Conference League and celebrating the birth of his twins.

The forward, 26, and his partner, reality TV star Dani Dyer, announced in January that they are expecting two girls and, naturally, they are seriously excited to meet them.

But before then Bowen has a twin situation to help resolve in his day job.

And after taking a step forward in one of them by booking a semi-finals berth with the win over KAA Gent on Thursday, he and his pals will refocus on the other today as they take on fellow strugglers Bournemouth.

Asked what staying up and winning a trophy would mean ahead of the summer’s big arrivals, Bowen said: “It would mean everything.

“To keep this club in the division is the main focus.to win a European trophy would be unbelievable.

“A quadruple?yeah.the twins would be the icing on the cake. Then I could… I was going to say, ‘Put my feet up and relax’ but at least sit down at home content.”

Thursday’s 4-1 win followed the overturning of a two-goal deficit against Premier League leaders Arsenal to earn a draw.

And reflecting on the Gent victory, Bowen added: “On another night, we could have scored maybe even eight but we can take a lot of confidence from the result.

“It has not been as free-flowing as we’d want this season but, especially off the back of last Sunday, it was important to get the fans excited again and in the second half we showed that.

“It’s a massive week finishing off with Bournemouth.we know how big it is, how important it is for us and our season.

“All we can do is our best to get ourselves out of the position – and Europe as well is a massive opportunity for us.”
