I’ll be there for you... how Jennifer is backing Britney
FRIENDS star Jennifer Aniston has “reached out” to offer support to troubled singer Britney Spears, after her latest “meltdown”.
Toxic singer Britney, 42, was reportedly hurt in a fight last month, with an ambulance called to Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont hotel late at night.
Britney had been staying there with Paul Richard Soliz, 37, her boyfriend and former housekeeper at her nearby 21-acre estate.
She sent the ambulance away after leaving their room barefoot and protecting her modesty with a pillow and blanket.
Fans now worry she is in a similar state to when she shaved her head, attacked photographers with an umbrella and stayed on hospital psychiatric wards in 2007 and 2008 – leading to all her assets being placed under her father’s control for 13 years.
But sources close to Jennifer, 55, who played Rachel Green in the sitcom, say she is hoping to act as a confidante to the pop star.
One said: “She’s extremely worried about Britney – and where she might be heading again.”
A second Hollywood insider added: “Jen wants Britney to know she has a friend waiting in the wings to help without being judgmental.”
Jennifer previously befriended singer and actress Selena Gomez, 31, who has told how she gives her “a lot of maternal advice”.
