Dakota Manchester is the city’s latest boutique hotel and restaurant and oozes panache. With lots of leather and velvet furnishings, the Dakota Grill has a dark, opulent feel. Its brasserie-style seasonal menu of classic dishes with a twist is a real treat and beautifully presented. We loved the king scallops, halibut with ceps and cauliflower and deliciously decadent chocolate delice. The cigar garden, with its waterside views, is a perfect spot for a post-lunch glass of fizz.
