Variety is said to be the spice of life, and Katie Piper’s amazing career shows that’s certainly true.

From hard-hitting documentar­ies and running her charity The Katie Piper Foundation to taking part in Strictly Come Dancing and joining the Loose Women panel, the 38-year-old is a shining light.

And now the star is set to give our Sunday mornings a shake-up as she brings us Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show. Packed with celebrity guests and fun chat,

Katie says landing the magazine show has been a “dream”.

“I’m looking forward to waking everyone up,” says the TV presenter, who was awarded an OBE for her services to charity and victims of burns and other disfigurem­ent injuries earlier this year. Katie suffered life-changing burns in an acid attack in 2008.

“It’s going to be really lightheart­ed and easy, which is what you need on a Sunday morning if you’re hungover or you’ve been up all night with the kids!”

Here, Katie, who has daughters Belle, eight, and Penelope, four, with her husband Richard Sutton, opens up about the support she’s received from her Loose Women mates, and reveals why she didn’t even tell her husband about her OBE.
