Plagued by guilt of ghastly wedding

My parents spent a fortune on my wedding, but I had a terrible time. I was so nervous I didn’t eat and felt ill. My mates drank too much and were a nightmare.

I feel guilty that my poor mum and dad poured their savings into a complete waste of time and energy. Should I offer to pay them back?

Don’t insult them by throwing cash back in their faces if they think things went well. It’s the future that matters now.
