Former Rugby World Cup winner Steve Thompson was diagnosed with probable chronic traumatic encephalop­athy in 2020, which is thought to be caused by repeated blows to the head. Now, at the age of 44, he has to live with early-onset dementia.

Filmed over a year, the documentar­y follows the father-of-four as he meets with brain experts, talks to former rugby players, and questions the rugby authoritie­s’ current procedures to prevent head injuries during contact in training and matches.
