As an A-list actress, director, activist, mum and star of L’oréal’s biggest viral hit (yes, that grey roots advert), you might imagine Eva Longoria is content to tick off her successes and kick off her heels. Not so. “I love to get out of my comfort zone and do things that scare me,” she tells us, poised in her stilettos backstage at Paris Fashion Week.
Today’s fright night involves taking to the catwalk to “walk your worth” as part of the L’oréal Paris fierce feminist posse. At just 5ft 2in, Eva is hardly your typical supermodel, but nothing can stop her walking tall. “If you say to me, ‘Go be a model’, I’m like, ‘Hold on.’ But this is about more than fashion, it stems from confidence and empowerment. So that I can do,” she grins.
