The ins and outs
Clean metal barbecues and give grill bars a going over. Pack them away rather than risk them going rusty or growing green gunge.
Contemporary and ceramic outdoor heaters can look decorative left out – stand a potted evergreen in them for winter. But the tall, gas, stainlesssteel types may rust or be blown over, so they are best put away.
Solar fountains and lights can be left out but with low winter light, I’d say put them away.
Awnings, tent-style gazebos and playhouses are best packed away, too.
And garden game sets, such as croquet and badminton, should be
cleaned and stored.
