The Rickshaw Relay Rides Again

Tuesday, 8pm, BBC One

This special is part of the 42nd Children In Need appeal and follows Matt Baker and five young people, who have been supported by projects funded by the charity.

They are taking part in this year’s Rickshaw Challenge, a relay ride through their home towns and other places across the UK that hold a significan­ce for them.

Now in its 12th year, the relay has become a popular fixture for Children In Need.

As part of the England team that won the 1966 World Cup, footie icon Sir Geoff Hurst is still the only man to score a hat-trick in the tournament’s final.

This documentar­y charts his incredible highs and littleknow­n lows as Sir Geoff talks for the first time about the tragedies in his life as well as his remarkable achievemen­ts.

Oti Mabuse: My South Africa Thursday, 9pm, BBC One

Oti Mabuse may be best known from the dance floor of Strictly but her journey to achieve dancing fame in the UK started in the townships of South Africa.

In this very personal documentar­y, she returns to her childhood home to revisit the people and places that inspired her to be the woman she is today – and delves into her own family’s past under apartheid.

The Great British Bake Off Tuesday, 8pm, Channel 4

After nine weeks of competitio­n, collapsing creations and that controvers­ial Mexicanthe­med episode, it’s time for judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to decide on the winner of this year’s contest.

Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding are on hand to try to ease the tension as the remaining three amateur bakers face their final tests.
