Chef Tom: I beat grip of alcohol
TV CHEF Tom Kerridge has revealed how he was “dependent” on alcohol and would order a pint of strong cocktail Negroni after work “just as a starter” before boozing for hours.
The 44-year-old chef, who shed 12st over fears he might not reach 80, admits to his out-of-control drinking habit on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs today.
Tom revealed he misses the “chaos” of heavy drinking but is now teetotal.
