Agreement good enough

Like many, I am a weary Brexiteer and while I feel Theresa May’s deal is not perfect, it is good enough for now.

As it was “trade” we basically signed up for in the 1970s, I don’t feel that aspect so keenly as “sovereignty, payments and borders” which the EU has been quietly stealing from us ever since.

This deal will get us out of the EU and that is what matters. We will be able to use some “muscle” in later trading discussions.

As for the Northern Ireland problem, technology could be used for most things, plus a few “spot checks” and the avowed intention of both the UK and Ireland not to require a hard border. I hope our MPs vote this deal through.
