HALIFAX and MAIDSTONE failed to join non-league rivals SOLIHULL MOORS in the hat for the third round draw.
Halifax lost 3-1 to League Two AFC WIMBLEDON while Maidstone went down 2-0 at home to OLDHAM. Solihull had confirmed their place in the draw after a goalless draw with BLACKPOOL on Friday.
Wimbledon took the lead through Ben Purrington just before the break. Anthony Wordsworth and Joe Pigott sealed the win, before a late James Hanson own-goal.
Maidstone conceded a 13thminute opener to Oldham’s Peter Clarke, Chris O’Grady firing his side’s second.

Akinde. BRADFORD claimed a 2-2 draw in their tussle at PETERBOROUGH. SUNDERLAND must do it again after a 1-1 draw at WALSALL. DONCASTER notched a 2-0 win at CHARLTON, ACCRINGTON saw off CHELTENHAM 3-1, BARNSLEY won 4-2 at SOUTHEND and OXFORD beat PLYMOUTH 2-1.
