Prue: live apart for wedded bliss
PRUE LEITH says having separate homes is the key to a happy marriage in later life.
The Great British Bake Off judge, 78, wed designer John Playfair, 71, two years ago but the pair have kept their own houses.
“He sleeps every night in my house,” she told BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live. “But the best thing is all his gear, all his clobber, is at his house.
“If you get married at my age you have a lifetime of stuff. We’ve been having too good a time to spend three weeks sorting it all.”
