Awful double standards

I see that feminists are up in arms over the reintroduction of the Wonderbra poster (“Hello sexism, cry feminists”, December 2).

I think these women need to be reminded of a few TV adverts of recent years.

An ad with a group of women drooling over a bare chested hunk drinking a can of Diet Coke.

An ad with two women with theatre glasses on the front row of a male strip show.

An ad with a group of women looking through a one-way mirror at a man getting undressed.

If the roles had been reversed there would be an uproar. But as we all know it is one rule for women and another rule for men. Alex Owen, Coventry
