Nation united in grief over Grace murder
HUNDREDS of people joined walks of remembrance for murdered British backpacker Grace Millane in two cities in New Zealand yesterday.
The largest event was held in Auckland, where marchers gathered in the main square for a poignant minute’s silence.
At the same time, people dressed in white also held a minute’s silence in the city of Christchurch.
The body of Grace, 22, from Essex, was found near Auckland a week ago. A 26-year-old man has appeared in court charged with her murder.
