Guardiola plans summer swoop for £20m Kabak
PEP GUARDIOLA could heap more defensive misery on arch rivals Manchester United with a move for Galatasaray central defender Ozan Kabak. Manchester City have been discussing a link-up with the Turkish side that could give them first refusal on any of their highly rated players.
United have watched the 18-yearold (left) in action several times in recent weeks and are preparing to make a £20million offer. But Guardiola, despite having no plans to strengthen his squad in next month’s transfer window, is prepared to let Kabak stay with Galatasaray ahead of a summer move to the Etihad.
Kabak, who is under contract in Turkey until 2020, is understood to favour a move to the Premier League rather than pen a new deal.
