Sexton too hot for Bath

BATH had no answer to the skills of Ireland’s world player of the year Johnny Sexton.

Ten of Leinster’s points came from his boot. But it was the out-half ’s distribution, crossfield kicking and wrap-around passing that left Bath in disarray. Francois Louw got a typical Bath pick-and-go try on 21 minutes and team-mate Sam Underhill crossed after the break.

But there was no stopping the reigning Euro champs who ended Bath’s hopes of reaching the knockout stages.
