My hope for split hit

-

Happily married Sarah Jessica Parker says her new role in sitcom Divorce has taught her a lot about couples who aren’t so lucky.

The former Sex and the City star said: “The great irony about divorce is that in order to get divorced, you really need to work with the very person you’re divorcing.”

The Sky Atlantic show follows Sarah and co- star Thomas Haden Church through the long and tricky process of splitting up.

In real life, she has been married to actor Matthew Broderick for 19 years. They have three children. Strictly star Daisy Lowe has told how she conquered crippling fears about her weight.

The gorgeous model admitted that in the past, she was often so worried about her body that she couldn’t even get out of bed.

But she said: “I’ve been on a learning curve the last few years.

“The older I get, the more comfortable I am in my own skin. And therefore, I get to enjoy what I do.”

Daisy, the 27-yearold daughter of fashion designer Pearl Lowe and rocker Gavin Rossdale, added: “One of the reasons I did Strictly was to help others feel good about their bodies.

“Everyone battles their insecurities on a daily basis. So do I. I’m human.

“My weight yo-yos so much. It always has. But I’m a bit trimmer because I’ve been dancing four hours a day.”

Daisy has impressed the judges and has her heart set on making the final with partner Aljaz Skorjanec. “I’m really lucky,” she said. “He’s a dream.”
