£148m winner’s fiancee walks out
EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford’s exwife has hit out at his former fiancee after she walked out on him with £300,000 worth of prize horses.
Gil l ian Bayford, who shared his £ 148million EuroMillions win in 2012, said : “She has taken advantage of Adrian from day one.”
As she revealed their children’s heartache after Samantha Burbidge took their pet dogs, she added: “She needs to face the music.”
The 29-year- old former stable girl was understood to be in Spain last week.
She left Adrian, 46, a fortnight ago while he was visiting his chi ldren at their mum’s Dundee home.
Samantha spirited away 30 thoroughbred horses costing up to £10,000 each, a £100,000 horsebox and a £ 60,000 Mercedes SLK sports car.
Gillian, 44, said: “I think all of it has been very much planned by Sam. She’s been moving horses to Spain for the company she works for.
“Her horses that Adrian bought her are up for sale and she’s sold her car. She needs to face the music.”
She said Adrian was coming to terms with his heartache by concentrating on their two children, aged 10 and eight.
Gillian said: “Sam had no interest in the children. But she needs to consider what she’s done is affecting them.
“She’s taken their dogs. They don’t care about horses, horse boxes and cars. It’s the two dogs.”
