River City star Stephen’s dream for Bob to become a dad

-

Nicola Sturgeon was so impressed by our Sunday Mail Young Scot Award winners she invited them all to tea. The First Minister spent time at Bute House in Edinburgh with the incredible finalists who scooped gongs at our annual young people’s Oscars in April. Guests included overall winner Chelsea Cameron, who melted the hearts of the nation with her emotional open letter to her drug-addicted parents.

She was joined by Grace Warnock, who created a sign for people with invisible disabilities, and Monster Calls actor Lewis MacDougall, who has been hailed as Scotland’s next major star.

Sturgeon said: “They are an inspiration to us all.” thinking, ‘I’ll do three months and then pick up at college’.

“Fifteen years later – where did that go? I’ve made a career out of it and I am always thankful to River City for it.”

But he’s not sure if Bob will thank him for his latest storyline.

Finding out Angus, played by Scott Fletcher, slept with Kim will rock his world – even though his pal felt he was trying to do something positive.

Angus thought he was dying of a brain tumour and wanted to help Bob become a father.

Fans will have to wait to find out if Bob will forgive and forget who is the daddy.

He said: “When I was told, I thought it was a big story.

“Bob and Angus are partners in crime, great characters, great friends, and for them to be split up is a big deal but the intentions are good from Angus and Kim.

“They’re trying to do the best for Bob but I don’t think he can handle it.”
