Loki star is punter fancy for 007 role
Bookies have seen a flurry of bets on Tom Hiddleston being the next James Bond, forcing them to slash the odds to just 9- 4.
The bets follow Hiddleston, 37, confirming he will be reprising his role as the god of mischief in a new Marvel TV series based on Loki.
He is now second favourite to be the next Bond behind Bodyguard star Richard Madden, who is 6- 4.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Hiddleston’s Marvel role might be a million miles away from the world of 007 but it’s going to be another reminder of his acting skills and punters are backing him to be the next Bond.
