Fears over my future

I do not want to be resuscitated should I take seriously ill. I want to ensure my wishes are met so I am not kept alive by machines. Is there anything I can do to make sure that happens? A living will is an option and it is worth making your intentions clear. But in Scotland this is not legally binding and would only be taken into consideration should the situation arise. Speak to a lawyer about having a power of attorney drawn up so your family can make medical decisions on your behalf.
