Oops la la! I meant to say Scotland.. not Stockholm

One of France’s hottest models had to reshoot an advertising campaign after mistaking Edinburgh for Stockholm. Jeanne Damas got confused fronting the ad for retailer Mango. The 26-year-old, who has more than a million Instagram followers, made the slip after travelling to Scotland to film in the capital, North Berwick and the Pentland Hills. In one shot outside the Bow Bar in Edinburgh, she said: “I’m Jeanne Damas. I live in Paris. We’re in Stockholm… Scotland. Let’s try again.”

She poses alongside a piper, dances outside Edinburgh Castle and goes fly-fishing in scenes for the campaign. She also visits The Lobster Shack in North Berwick.

The model was accompanied by Paul King, owner of King Tours.

He said: “Jeanne was lovely. There were no problems. I think it shows Scotland in a great light.”
