Mum­mies un­veiled

The trea­sures of a 3500-yearold Egyp­tian tomb have been un­veiled.

Ar­chae­ol­o­gists found two sar­cophagi, each con­tain­ing a mummy, in per fect con­di­tion.

The dig also dis­cov­ered around 1000 stat­ues at the site in the As­sas­seef val­ley near Luxor.

The tomb is be­lieved to date to the 18th dy­nasty of 1550 BC to 1300 BC.
