Parents’ tyre safety alert

Charity TyreSafe are launching a campaign aimed at parent chauffeurs.

By the time a child is 20, parents are likely to have spent more than 3000 hours driving them around – that’s 125 days of non-stop motoring.

But TyreSafe say more than one in four parents may be driving with illegal or poorly maintained tyres.

Their Home Safely On Safe Tyres campaign highlights the importance of tyres in minimising risks on the road.
